Like the whole of the original Most, the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was affected by coal mining. Unlike the town, the church was fortunate enough to be relocated by 841 metres in 1975 with the help of unique technology. Today, visitors can see a permanent exhibition of Gothic and Renaissance art or enjoy the view from its tower. The church also frequently hosts various exhibitions and concerts and hosts weddings.
