Koldům is an important developmental element of modern architecture after the Second World War, a building of technical monument of world importance. At the time, he presented a new style of living and comprehensive amenities. Own apartments should serve for rest, other activities (catering, childcare, sports) should be held together in the central part of the premises. The building, built by architects E. Linhart and V. Hilski from 1947 to 1958, is registered in the Central List of Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic and is in the interest of UNESCO.

The complex serves the general public and includes a multipurpose sports hall, a public swimming pool, tennis and volleyball courts.
