The town of Most has a new tourist attraction at Hněvín. It is a secured climbing route in the rock, the so-called ferrata. If you are a fan of rock climbing, then this new attraction is just for you.
Visitors must first take care of their safety and are obliged to follow the visitor and operating rules, among other things, not to go on the ferrata in the wet weather or in winter when the rocks are slippery. In order to use the ferrata, it is necessary to have your own fully functional and certified ferrata equipment. At a minimum, you must wear sturdy shoes, a ferrata harness, a ferrata set with a fall absorber, a protective helmet and climbing gloves. Access to the ferrata is at your own risk.
There are two routes - the easier A for beginners and the harder B for experienced climbers. Both routes are one-way and lead from the old waterworks to the cave under the castle. However, if you do not want to climb up the rock to the cave, you can walk down to it along the trail from the viewing arbor overlooking Souš and its surroundings.
