The multifunctional tower built in 2005 on Vlčí hora above the town of Osek at an altitude of 890 m is a combination of a telecommunication station for monitoring mobile operator frequencies and a lookout tower. The construction of the observation platform was the condition under which the Osek municipal council agreed to build the monitoring tower in the Dlouhá Louka municipality.
The tower consists of a 40-metre high metal tube, around the lower part of which a spiral staircase leads to the observation platform at a height of 15 metres. The observation tower is freely accessible.
