Entertainment and relaxation is offered by the family resort of winter and summer sports, the Sport complex Klíny, the largest winter sports centre in the Most district. It is located at an altitude of 720 metres, approximately 6 km from Litvínov and 5 km from the road border crossing to Germany Mníšek /Deutscheinsiedel.
In close proximity to the area on Cloud Hill, 850 metres above sea level, there are maintained cross-country skiing circuits with a connection to the Erzgebirge White Track.
But you don't have to stop at skiing in Klíny. In the new multifunctional sports hall with a climbing and tennis wall, you can also stretch other muscles, which you can then relax in the sauna or whirlpool in the evening.
In the summer months you can use the multi-purpose sports field with artificial turf. It allows for recreational and performance tennis, volleyball, football, floorball and street basketball. The pitch is artificially lit and can serve as a natural ice rink in winter.
Right in the centre of the Klíny Sports Complex you will find a 7-metre climbing tower with secured routes of varying difficulty. An experienced instructor will be at your disposal upon prior arrangement with the Emeran Hotel reception. There is also a possibility to rent basic climbing equipment such as rope, axes, crampons, saddles.
Other summer activities in the area include mini golf, playground, trampoline, mountain biking, Nordic walking, outdoor training and for fans of adrenaline sports, but also for recreational riders, mountain scooters are available. The perfect braking system allows you to ride at a step, but also at a considerable speed, depending on which way the rider chooses.
A unique bobsleigh track, almost 900 m long, with an elevation of 130 m, is a hot new feature. Thanks to its construction, it is extremely safe. The track runs through the forest, over a ski slope and crosses a local road, which is crossed at a height of 4 m by a 50 m long bridge. A cable car will take you back up, so the experience is doubled. Children from 8 years old can ride independently. For the ride of children under 8 years old, the bob is equipped with a double seat belt.
TRY THE LONGEST ZIPLINE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
In the Klíny Sports Complex, an instructor will dress you in a full-body harness, put on a helmet and secure you on a pulley with an electric drive. Then you just give the start signal and enjoy the 1400-metre long flight over the Šumensko valley to the opposite hill into the beautiful Erzgebirge wilderness to the transfer station. Here, your instructor will transfer you to the second rope and you will whizz 800 metres back to the cable car platform, which will take you back to the Klíny Sports Complex.
