The Ore Mountains Destination Agency prepared for the tourists the Mining Trail of the Ore Mountains. It brought tourists closer to the mining past and present of the Ore Mountains. Ore Mountains are closely connected with mining. The mining activity influenced the landscape and contributed to its formation. The project shows that there are many beautiful and interesting mining sites in the Ore Mountains worth visiting. Whether they are old mining works, mining museums, the architecture of the original mining settlements, or reclamation that today serves to rest, without people knowing that they were on the site of a lake, a park or a racetrack. As part of the project, a tourist brochure was created, which provides tourists with links to mining, an easy-to-navigate map, and a biking trail. The project was supported by the European Union by the Small Projects Fund.
